Avishek Kumar Mohanty is a Visiting Research Fellow (Electric Mobility Policy, Research and Charging Infrastructure) at IISD-CMI. He advises Policy, Research,  Standards, Technical as well as Managements aspects of Electric Mobility sector, where he brings his rich international experience and expertise to this impaortant new and challeging area for India.  

Avishek is an industry expert in electric mobility vehicle electrification segment, with excellent proven 14 years of expertise in the field high voltage system, conductive charging, wireless charging system, Electric Vehicle (EV) standards, its function implementation and architecture, within automotive industries. He is involved with many innovation initiatives, with many international universities and R&D organizations to develop cutting-edge products. In addition, he is deep into technology and having the best techniques and solutions of hybrid & electric vehicles, along with the future electrification market scenario. He has comprehensive knowledge & experience on high voltage conductive as well as inductive charging in the field of power electronics and software implementation, as per automotive standards, which he aided EV industries to solve many technical challenges. He has enough experience in running smooth business operations by following projects from conceptualizing phase to completion, incorporation of customer needs, and facilitating technical support. Avishek has participated as a speaker in many international conferences and sharing his research findings and other recent developments in electric vehicle segment. He is also a member of the European Charging Standard Society, where he contributes to devolve the standards for the sustainable electric mobility sector. Avishek lives at Gothenburg, Sweden and involves with various innovation experiments for various electrification project for OEMs. Moreover, he is also Co-Founder and Chief Technical Offier (CTO) of two swedish tech companies such as Wattsovation AB & Faabcharge AB; the former focuses to deliver the software product in the field of energy and automotive, where as Faabcharge AB is a product based company and is devloping charging prodcuts for Electric Vehicle, Solar and E-Bikes. He leads local and international research team in the mission of delivering, an inovative product, for electromobilty market, which would solve customer's day to day requirements in mobilty area.
